Flu Tea
Recipe
2 large garlic cloves or 4 small cloves- crushed
2cm ginger - peeled and chopped
1 red chilli
3 cups of water
-sprigs of thyme
-lemon
-honey (preferably Manuka or Jarrah)
Simmer garlic, ginger and chilli in 3 cups of water for 5-10 minutes.
Add a sprigs of Lemon thyme.
Leave it to steep for another 5 minutes.
Strain into a cup.
Squeeze 1/2 a lemon and add a teaspoon of honey into the cup.
